Glynis 1st June 2020

I met John nearly 7 years ago when we lost our other halves at the Hospice. We were on a course for bereaved and after that 6 of us met every 2 weeks to go for a meal. I lived nearest John and he suggested we went out once a week to places like Newark, Derby and Worksop. He talked me into buying things I did not need especially paracetamol and ibruphen as he was convinced because of Brexit there would be a shortage, thanks John I have loads He used to tell people he took me too these places as he was earning Help the Aged points. He was one of the genuine people it is rare to meet. John loved his family and would tell me how proud he was of them and yes like a Dad how he worried for them. John you were the best friend I could ever wish for and the brother I never had.. I will miss you so much but you will live on in your family. God bless you John you will never be forgotten xx
