Adam Combes-Beastall, son of Suzanne Combes and Sean Beastall.

John was particularly close to Adam after losing Jackie, doing all the school runs, taking him on trips during the school holidays and passing on lots of stories, particularly about family history.  He viewed Adam as wise beyond his years and was particularly proud last year when Adam won the Key Stage 4 drama award at Samworth Church Academy.  John loved attending the awards ceremony in December 2019 where Rebecca Adlington was giving out awards. It is a great shame John did not feature in any of the photos from the ceremony with the focus being firmly on the winners and Becky!
